Ox Yoke Retreat
Ox Yoke Retreat (For SRF Kriyabans, or SRF Lessons students accompanied by a Kriyaban)

Ox Yoke Retreat is a serene, high-desert sanctuary in Twentynine Palms, CA, where Paramahansa Yogananda envisioned a spiritual refuge for silence, solitude, and renewal. It is available to SRF Kriyabans who regularly attend an SRF temple (and SRF Lessons students accompanied by a Kriyaban).

Encinitas
Self-Realization Fellowship Retreat - Encinitas

The SRF Encinitas Retreat is located in the coastal city of Encinitas, California, approximately 95 miles south of Los Angeles and 30 miles north of San Diego. Our program provides a quiet and spiritual environment where individuals can take the time to focus on deepening their spiritual practices of meditation, reflection, and study of Paramahansa Yogananda's teachings.

Retreatants have the opportunity to visit the SRF Hermitage—where Paramahansaji lived for many years and wrote his Autobiography of a Yogi—as well as enjoy the meditation gardens during daylight hours, meditate in the SRF J-Street Chapel across the street from the retreat building, and attend a variety of activities at the SRF Encinitas Temple.

The retreat is located at 1136 -1144 Second Street in Encinitas, California. It is located less than a block from the Self-Realization Fellowship Encinitas Meditation Gardens and just a block away from our Encinitas Temple. The J Street Chapel is across the street. Lake Shrine
Self-Realization Fellowship Retreat - Lake Shrine

Personal Retreats are offered Thursday-Sunday. Check-in is on Thursday or Friday between 2:00 and 5:30 pm and check-out is on Sunday by 1 pm. Conducted Weekend Retreats, longer stays, and late arrivals are not possible at this time.

The Lake Shrine Retreat is closed for the weeks of Convocation (held each summer in Los Angeles) and Christmas. Reservations for the weeks before and after Convocation are usually limited to just a few days and are reserved for those coming from long distances. Self-Realization Fellowship Hidden Valley

At the Hidden Valley Ashram Center, men who are students of the Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons will find an environment conducive to God-centered living in the tranquil beauty of the ashram and surrounding hills. The Hidden Valley Ashram Center, sequestered among 100 acres of rolling hills and oak forests in north San Diego County, is a perfect environment for spiritual renewal.
